Kobito tunnel combination “Kaku”

Kobito tunnel combination Kaku consists of arches made of stainless steel and wood made from robinia.

– 1 stainless steel arch with a width of approximately 180cm, height of approximately 135cm, and a bending radius of approximately 90cm
– 1 HPL wall with a round hole, diameter of approximately 75cm, and 2 small squared windows with rounded corners, measuring approximately 23x23cm and 8x8cm
– 11 parallel bars made of stainless steel placed between and along the arches
– 1 connecting tunnel made of stainless steel in an L-shape, with a diameter of approximately 75cm, length 1 of approximately 195cm, and length 2 of approximately 245cm (outside dimension). The tunnel is made of colored acrylic glass.

All arches are made of stainless steel tube with a diameter of 101.6mm and a thickness of 3mm. The support posts are made of stainless steel tube with a diameter of 101.6mm and a thickness of 2mm. The visible ends of the posts are conclusively welded to a stainless steel cap. All stainless steel surfaces are radiated with glass marbles in accordance with environmental protection rules. The platform/balcony is connected to the support posts using stainless steel press-in threaded sleeves. The platform is fixed using concentrically incorporated stainless steel brackets. All wooden parts are made of planed and chamfered robinia wood. They are left untreated. All connecting parts are made of stainless steel or galvanized. Only self-locking nuts are used.

Drying cracks are normal in all native hard woods, even after appropriate storage and professional treatment. Therefore, drying cracks do not justify a warranty claim (see supplementary sheet to the German Institute for Standardization EN 1176, Note on 4.2.7.6).
