Project Overview
We were asked to supply and install a new climbing structure that would not only engage pupils physically but also encourage imaginative and social play. After consultation with the school, the Lappset climbing frame was selected for its dynamic features, robust construction, and ability to support a wide range of developmental benefits.
Installation Details
The chosen site was a grassy area near the main school building. To preserve the natural feel of the space while ensuring safety compliance, we opted for grass mats as the impact-absorbing surface. These mats allow the grass to grow through, maintaining a green appearance while providing critical fall protection.
Our installation team:
- Prepared the ground and marked the safety surfacing boundaries.
- Installed the Lappset 137075 unit securely into the ground.
- Fitted grass mats around the equipment, extending out to the required fall zones in accordance with BS EN 1176/1177 standards.
