The village of Burghfield nestles among Bershire’s woodland and has seen significant expansion in recent years. Among new facilities provided for the village Redlynch Leisure installed a Rotterdam concrete table tennis table on a grass mat on the Common Recreation ground. The table blends with the existing equipment and is popular with residents of all ages – its also exceptionally durable and able to withstand being left outside. The fact that it is concrete means there is no danger of it being carried off by thieves!
